Dua-Munajat containing the word "Rabbanaa" described in the Holy Quran ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٲطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَِ ◯ سورة الفاتح ، آية رقم ٥ “Show us the straight way”, (Sūrah 1: Fātiha, or (the Opening Chapter),Ayat: 5) ٧. صِرَٲطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ◯ سورة الفاتح ، آية رقم ٧. “The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace,Those whose (portion)Is not wrath, And who go not astray”. (Sūrah 1: Fātiha, or the Opening Chapter Ayat No.7, Verses 7 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Section 1). ١٢٧ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ◯ سورة البقرة رقم ٢، آية رقم ١٢٧ 1. “And remember Abraham and Isma`il raised the foundations of the House (with this prayer)]: “Our Lord! accept (this service) from us for thou art the All-Hearing the All-Knowing”. (Sūrah 2: Baqarah, Ayat No.127, Verses 286 — Madani; Revealed at Madina — Sections 40). ١٢٨- رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ ◯ سورة البقرة رقم ٢، آية رقم ١٢٨ 2. “Our Lord! make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will) and of our progeny a people Muslim bowing to Thy (Will) and show us our places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning Most-Merciful. (Sūrah 2: Al Baqorah, Ayat: 128). ٢٠١- رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ◯ سورة البقرة رقم ٢، آية رقم٢٠١ 3.“And there are men who say: “Our Lord! give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and defend us from the torment on the fire!” (Sūrah 2: Al Baqorah, Ayat: 201). رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ◯ سورة البقرة ، آية رقم٢٥٠ 4.“Our Lord! pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm; help us against those that reject faith.” (Sūrah 2: Al Baqorah, Ayat: 250). غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ◯ سورة البقرة ، آية رقم٢٨٥ 5.“(We seek) Thy forgiveness Our Lord and to Thee is the end of all journeys.” (Sūrah 2: Al Baqorah, Ayat: 285)” رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ◯ سورة البقرة ، آية رقم٢٨٦ 6. “Our Lord! condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; help us against those who stand against faith.” (Sūrah 2: Al Baqorah, Ayat: 286). ٨- رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات: ٨ 7.“Our Lord!” (they say), “Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure. (Sūrah 3: Āl-i-‘Imrān, or The Family of ‘Imrān, Ayat No.8, Verses 200 — Madani; Revealed at Madina — Sections 20} - رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات: ٩ 8. “Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind together against a day about which there is no doubt; for Allah (God) never fails in His promise.” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 9). رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات: ١٦ 9.(Namely) those who say: “Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us then our sins and save us from the agony of the fire.” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat:16). رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات: ٥٣ 10.“Our Lord! we believe in what thou hast revealed and we follow the Apostle; then write us down among those who bear witness.” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 53). رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات ١٤٧ 11.“Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith.” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 147). رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَـٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات ١٤٧ 12. “Men who celebrate the praises of Allah (God) standing sitting and lying down on their sides and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth (with the thought): “Our Lord! not for naught hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the fire”. (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 191). رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات: ١٩٣ 13। “Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (us) to faith `Believe ye in the Lord’ and we have believed. Our Lord! forgive us our sins blot out from us our iniquities and take to thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.(Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 193). رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ ◯ سورة ٣: آل عمران آيات: ١٩٤ 14. “Our Lord! grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through thine Apostles and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: for thou never breakest Thy promise.” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 194). رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا ◯ سورة ٤: نصاء ، آية رقم ٧٥ 15. “Our Lord! rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Thee one who will protect; and raise for us from Thee one who will help!.” (Sūrah 4: Nisāa, or The Women, Ayat No.75, Verses 176 — Madani; Revealed at Madina — Sections 24). رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ ◯ سورة ٥: مائدة ، آية رقم ٨٣ 16.“Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses” (Sūrah 5: Māida, or The Table Spread, Ayat No.83 , Verses 120 — Madani; Revealed at Madina —Sections 16). - رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ◯ سورة ٧: عراف ، آيات: ٢٣ 17. They said: “our Lord! we have wronged our own souls: if Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy mercy we shall certainly be lost.” “Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses.” Sūrah 7: A’rāf, or The Heights, Ayat: 23,Verses 206 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Sections 24). رَبَّنَا هَـٰؤُلَاءِ أَضَلُّونَا فَآتِهِمْ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا مِّنَ النَّارِ ۖ قَالَ لِكُلٍّ ضِعْفٌ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تَعْلَمُونَ ◯ سورة ٧: عراف ، آيات: ٣٨ 18. “Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the fire.” He will say: “doubled for all”: but this Ye do not understand (Sūrah 7: Al A'raf, Ayat: 38). رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ◯ سورة ٧: عراف ، آيات: ٤٧ 19. “Our Lord! send us not to the company of the wrong- doers.” (Sūrah 7: Al A'raf, Ayat: 47). رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ ◯ سورة ٧: عراف ، آيات: ٨٩ 20. “Our Lord can reach out to the utmost recesses of things by His knowledge. In Allah (God) is our trust. Our Lord! decide thou between us and our people in truth for thou art the best to decide.” (Sūrah 7: Al A'raf, Ayat: 89). رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءَتْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ ◯ سورة ٧: عراف ، آيات: ١٢٦ 21. “Our Lord! pour out on us patience and constancy and take our souls unto thee as Muslims (who bow to thy will)”! (Sūrah 7: Al A'raf, Ayat: 126). ٨٥- رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ◯ ٨٦- وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ◯ سورة ١٠: يونس ، آيات رقم ٨٥-٨٦ 22. “ Our Lord ! make us not A trial for those Who practice oppression; And deliver us by Thy Mercy From those who reject (Thee).”( Sūrah 10: Yūnus, or Jonah, Verses 109 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No 85-86, Sections 11). وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ) رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالًا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا عَن سَبِيلِكَ ۖ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَىٰ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ ◯ سورة ١٠: يونس ، آيات رقم ٨٨ 23. (Moses prayed): “Our Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed On Pharaoh and his Chiefs Splendour and wealth in the life Of the Present, and so, Our Lord, they mislead (men) From Thy Path. Deface Our Lord, the features of their wealth, And send hardness to their hearts, So they will not believe Until they see The grievous Penalty.” (Sūrah 10: Al Yunus, Ayat: 88) رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ ◯ (سورة ١٤: إبراهيم: ٣٧ 24. “O our Lord! I have made Some of my offspring to dwell In a valley without cultivation, By Thy Sacred House ; In order, O our Lord, that they May establish regular Prayer : So fill the hearts of some Among men with love towards them, And feed them with Fruits : So that they may give thanks” (Sūrah 14: Ibraheem: 37). رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّـهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ ◯ سورة ١٤: إبراهيم: ٣٨ 25. “O our Lord! truly Thou Dost know what we conceal And what we reveal : For nothing whatever is hidden From God, whether on earth Or in heaven” (Sūrah 14: Ibraheem: 38). رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ ◯ (سورة ١٤: إبراهيم: ٤١ 26. “O our Lord ! cover (us) With Thy Forgiveness—me, My parents, and (all) Believers, On the Day that the Reckoning Will be established!” (Sūrah 14: Ibraheem: 41). رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا ◯ سورة ١٨: الكهف آيات ١٠ 27. “Our Lord ! bestow on us Mercy from Thyself, And dispose of our affair For us in the right way ! ” (Sūrah 18: Kahf, Ayat:10) رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَالِّينَ ◯ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ ◯ سورة رقم ٢٣، سورة مؤمن ، الآية: ١٠٦-١٠٧ 28. They will say: “Our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, And we became a people Astray! Our Lord ! Bring us out Of this: if ever we return (To evil), then shall we be Wrong-doers indeed ! ” (Surah No 23, Surah Mu’minun, Ayat: 106-107). ١٠٩- رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ◯ سورة رقم ٢٣، سورة مؤمنون ، الآية: ١٠٩ 29. “Our Lord ! we believe ; Then do Thou forgive us, And have mercy upon us : For Thou art the Best Of those who show mercy !” (Surah No 23, Surah Mu’minun, Ayat:109) ０- رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا ◯ سورة ٢٥: الفرقان ، آية رقم ٦٥ 30. Those who say, “ Our Lord ! Avert from us the Wrath Of Hell, for its Wrath Is indeed an affliction grievous,— Sūrah 25: Furqān, or The Criterion, Verses 77 — Makki ; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.65, Sections 6). رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا ◯ سورة ٢٥: الفرقان ، آية رقم ٧٤ 31. And those who pray, “Our Lord ! Grant unto us Wives and offspring who will be The comfort of our eyes, And give us (the grace) To lead the righteous.” (Surah No 25,Surah Furqon, Ayat 74) رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا ◯ سورة ٣٣: أحزاب ، آية رقم ٦٨ 32. “ Our Lord ! Give them Double Penalty And curse them With a very great Curse!” (Sūrah 33: Ahzāb, or The Confederates, Verses 73 — Madani; Revealed at Madina — Ayat No.68, Sections 9). رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءَكُمُ النَّذِيرُ ۖ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ ◯ سورة ٣٥: فاطر آية رقم ٣٧ 33. “ Our Lord ! Bring us out : We shall work righteousness, Not the (deeds) we used To do ! ”—“ Did We not Give you long enough life So that he that would Should receive admonition ? And (moreover) the warner Came to you. So taste ye (The fruit of your deeds) : For the Wrong-doers There is no helper.”( Sūrah 35: Fātir, or The Originator of Creation, Verses 45 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.37, Sections 5) رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ ◯ سورة ٤٠: مؤمن آية رقم ٧ 34. “ Our Lord ! Thy Reach Is over all things, In Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who Turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path ; and preserve them From the Penalty Of the Blazing Fire !” (Sūrah 40: Mū-min, or The Believer, Verses 85 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.7, Sections 9). رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ◯ ٩- وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ ۚ وَمَن تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ ◯ سورة ٤٠: مؤمن آية رقم٨-٩ 35. “ And grant, our Lord ! That they enter The Gardens of Eternity, Which Thou hast promised To them, and to the righteous Among their fathers, Their wives, and their posterity ! For Thou art (He), The Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom”. “ And preserve them From (all) ills ; And any whom Thou Dost preserve from ills That Day,—on them Wilt Thou have bestowed Mercy indeed : and that Will be truly (for them) The highest Achievement.” (Sūrah 40: Mū-min, or The Believer, Ayat No.8-9). رَبَّنَا أَرِنَا اللَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ الْأَسْفَلِينَ ◯ سورة ٤١: سجدة ، آية رقم ٢٩ 36. And the Unbelievers will say : “ Our Lord ! Show us those, Among Jinns and men, Who misled us : we shall Crush them beneath our feet, So that they become The vilest (before all). ” (Sūrah 41: Hā-Mīm, or Hā-Mīm Sajda, or Fussilat, Verses 54 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No..29, Sections 6) - رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ ◯ [سورة ٥٩: حشر ، آية رقم ١٠ 37. And those who came After them say : “ Our Lord ! Forgive us, and our brethren Who came before us Into the Faith, And leave not, In our hearts, Rancour (or sense of injury) Against those who have believed. Our Lord ! Thou art Indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful. ” [Sūrah 59: Hashr, or The Gathering (or Banishment), Verses 24 — Madani; Revealed at Madina — Ayat No..10, Sections 3]. رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ◯ سورة ٦٠: ممتهانا آيات رقم ٤ 38. “ Our Lord ! In Thee do we trust, And to Thee do we turn In repentance : to Thee Is (our) final Goa”l. (Sūrah 60: Mumtahana, or the Woman to be Examined, Verses 13 — Madani; Revealed at Madina — Ayat No.4., Sections 2). رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ◯ سورة٦٠: ممتهانا آيات رقم ٥ 39. “ Our Lord ! Make us not A (test and) trial For the Unbelievers, But forgive us, our Lord ! For Thou art the Exalted In Might, the Wise. ” (Sūrah 60: Mumtahana, Ayat No.4) ٨- َ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ◯ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ◯ سورة ٦٦: التحرير ، آية رقم ٨ 40. “ Our Lord ! Perfect our Light for us, And grant us Forgiveness ; For Thou hast power Over all things. ” (Sūrah 66: Tahrīm, Ayat No. 8) Dua-Munajat containing the words "Rabbi"-"Rabba" described in the Holy Quran رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ◯ آل عمران٣٥ 41.“O my Lord! I do dedicate unto Thee what is in my womb for Thy special service so accept this of me for Thou hearest and knowest all things.” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 35). رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ ◯ آل عمران٣٨ 42.“O my Lord! Grant unto me from Thee a progeny that is pure; for Thou art He that heareth prayer!” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 38). ٤١- رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً ۖ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا ۗ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ ◯ آل عمران٤١ 43. “O my Lord! Give me a sign!” “Thy Sign” was the answer “shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three days but with signals. Then celebrate the praises of thy Lord again and again and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning.” (Sūrah 3: Al-i Imran, Ayat: 41). ١٥١- رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ◯ سورة ٧: ﺍﻠعراف ، آيات: ١٥١ 44. (Moses prayed): “O my Lord! forgive me and my brother! admit us to Thy mercy! for Thou art the Most Merciful of those who sow mercy!” (Sūrah 7: Al A'raf, Ayat: 151). ١٥٥- رَبِّ لَوْ شِئْتَ أَهْلَكْتَهُم مِّن قَبْلُ وَإِيَّايَ ۖ أَتُهْلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ السُّفَهَاءُ مِنَّا ۖ إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا فِتْنَتُكَ تُضِلُّ بِهَا مَن تَشَاءُ وَتَهْدِي مَن تَشَاءُ ۖ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۖ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ ◯ سورة ٧: ﺍﻠعراف ، آيات: ١٥٥ 45. “O my Lord! if it had been Thy will Thou couldst have destroyed long before both them and me: wouldst Thou destroy us for the deeds of the foolish one among us? This is no more than Thy trial: by it Thou causest whom Thou wilt to stray and Thou leadest whom Thou wilt into the right path. Thou art our protector: so forgive us and give us Thy mercy; for Thou art the best of those who forgive” (Sūrah 7: Al A'raf, Ayat: 155). ٤١- ارْكَبُوا فِيهَا بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ مَجْرَاهَا وَمُرْسَاهَا ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ◯ سورة: ١١ هود آيات رقم ٤١ 46. “So he (Hazarat Nooh/Noah A’lyhimus Salam) said: “ Embark ye On the Ark, In the name of Allah (God), Whether it move Or be at rest ! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful! ” Sūrah 11: Hūd (The Prophet Hūd),Verses 123 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.41, Sections 10). ٤٧- رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُن مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ◯ سورة ١١: هود آيات رقم٤٧ 47. (Noah said) : “O my Lord ! I do seek refuge with Thee, Lest I ask Thee for that Of which I have no knowledge. And unless Thou forgive me And have Mercy on me, I should indeed be lost ! ” (Sūrah 11: Al Hood, Ayat: 47). ٣٣- رَبِّ السِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّي كَيْدَهُنَّ أَصْبُ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ ◯ (سورة ١٢: يوسف- آيات رقم ٣٣ 48. (Yusuf said): “O my Lord! The prison is more To my liking than that To which they invite me: Unless Thou turn away Their snare from me, I should (in my youthful folly) Feel inclined towards them And join the ranks of the ignorant.” (Sūrah 12: Yūsuf, or Joseph Verses 111 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.33, Sections 12). ١٠١- رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ ◯ (سورة ١٢: يوسف- آيات رقم ١٠١ 49. “O my Lord! Thou hast Indeed bestowed on me Some power, and taught me Something of the interpretation Of dreams and events,—O Thou Creator of the heavens And the earth! Thou art My Protector in this world And in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) As one submitting to Thy Will (As a Muslim), and unite me With the righteous.” (Sūrah 12: Yusuf: 101). ٣٥- (وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ) رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ ◯ (سورة: ١٤ إبراهيم: ٣٥ 50. (Remember Abraham said): “O my Lord! make this city One of peace and security : And preserve me and my sons From worshipping idols” (Sūrah 14: Ibrāhīm, or Abraham Verses 52 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.35., Sections 7). ٣٦- رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ◯ (سورة ١٤: إبراهيم: ٣٦ 51. “O my Lord ! they have indeed Led astray many among mankind ; He then who follows my (ways) Is of me, and he that Disobeys me,—but Thou Art indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful” (Sūrah 14: Ibraheem: 36). ٤٠- رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ ◯ (سورة إبراهيم: ٤٠ 52. “O my Lord ! make me One who establishes regular Prayer, And also (raise such) Among my offspring O our Lord ! And accept Thou my Prayer (Sūrah 14: Ibraheem: 40). رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا ◯ (سورة الإسرا ، الآية رقم ٢٤- 53. “My Lord ! bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they Cherished me in childhood.” (Sūrah 17: Al-Isrā (Night Journey) or Bani Isrā-īl,Verses 111 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.24, Sections 12). ٨٠- رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا ◯ (سورة الإسرا ، الآية رقم ٨٠ 54. “O my Lord ! Let my entry be By the Gate of Truth And Honour, and likewise My exit by the Gate Of Truth and Honour ; And grant me From Thy Presence An authority to aid (me)” (Sūrah 17: Surah Bani Israil, Ayat: 80). ٤- رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ الْعَظْمُ مِنِّي وَاشْتَعَلَ الرَّأْسُ شَيْبًا وَلَمْ أَكُن بِدُعَائِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّا ◯ سورة ١٩: مريم آية رقم ٤- 55. Praying : “O my Lord ! Infirm indeed are my bones, And the hair of my head Doth glisten with grey: But never am I unblest, O my Lord, in my prayer To Thee ! (Sūrah 19: Maryam, or Mary, Verses 98 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.4, Sections 6). ٥- رَائِي وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا فَهَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا ◯ سورة مريم آية رقم ٥ 56. “ Now I fear (what) My relatives (and colleagues) (Will do) after me : But my wife is barren : So give me an heir As from Thyself,— (Sūrah 19: Surah Marium, Ayat:5). ٢٥- رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ◯ (سورة ٢٠: طه آيات رقم ٢٥ 57. (Moses) said : “ O my Lord ! Expand me my breast ; (Sūrah 20: Tā-Há (Mystic Letters, T.H.)Verses 135 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.25, Sections 8). ٢٦- وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ◯ سورة طه آيات رقم ٢٦ 58. “ Ease my task for me ; (Sūrah 20: Surah , Ayat:Tohaa, Ayat: 26). ٢٧- وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي ◯ سورة طه آيات رقم ٢٧ 59. “And remove the impediment From my speech, (Sūrah 20: Surah , Ayat:Tohaa, Ayat: 27). ٢٨- يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي ◯ سورة: طه آيات رقم ٢٨ 60. “ So they may understand What I say : (Sūrah 20: Surah , Ayat:Tohaa, Ayat: 28). ٢٩- وَاجْعَلْ لِي وَزِيرًا مِنْ أَهْلِي ◯ سورة:طه آيات رقم ٢٩ 61. “And give me a Minister From my family,” (Sūrah 20: Surah , Ayat:Tohaa, Ayat: 29). رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا سورة:طه آيات رقم١١٤ 62. “O my Lord ! advance me In knowledge.” (Sūrah 20: Surah , Ayat:Tohaa, Ayat: 114). ٨٣- رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ◯ (سورة: الأنبياء ، الآية رقم٨٣ 63. And (remember) Job, when He cried to his Lord, “Truly distress has seized me, But Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are Merciful.” (Sūrah 21: Anbiyāa, or The Prophets, Verses 112 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.83., Sections 7). ١٠- إِذْ أَوَى الْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى الْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا ◯ سورة ١٨: الكهف ، آية رقم ١٠ 64. Behold, the youths betook themselves To the Cave : they said), “ Our Lord ! bestow on us Mercy from Thyself, And dispose of our affair For us in the right way ! ” (Sūrah 18: Kahf, or the Cave, Verses 110 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.10, Sections 38). رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ ◯ سورة رقم ٢٣، سورة المؤمنون، الآية: ٢٦ 65. (Noah) said : “ O my Lord ! Help me : for that they Accuse me of falsehood ! ” Sūrah 23: Mū-minūn, or The Believers, Verses 118 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.26, Sections رَبِّ أَنْزِلْنِي مُنْزَلًا مُبَارَكًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْزِلِينَ ◯ سورة المؤمنون الآية٢٩ 66. And say: “ O my Lord ! Enable me to disembark With Thy blessing : for Thou Art the Best to enable (us) To disembark.” (Sūrah 23: Surah Muminun: Ayat: 29). ٩٣- رَبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّي مَا يُوعَدُونَ ◯ سورة رقم 23 ، سورةالمؤمنون ٩٤- رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ◯ سورة المؤمنون٩٤ 67. “O my Lord! If Thou wilt show me (In my lifetime) that which They are warned against,— “Then, O my Lord! put me not Amongst the people Who do wrong !” ”(Surah No 23, Surah Mu’minun., Ayat: 93-94). ٩٧- رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ ◯ ٩٨- وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ ◯ سورة المؤمنون٩٧-٩٨ 68. “And say “O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee From the suggestions Of the Evil Ones. And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord ! lest they Should come near me.” (Surah No 23.Surah Mu’minun, Ayat: 97-98). ١١٨- رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ◯ سورة المؤمنون١١٨ 69. So say: “O my Lord ! Grant Thou forgiveness and mercy! For Thou art the Best Of those who show mercy! ” (Surah No 23,Surah Mu’minun, Ayat:118). ٨٣- رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ ◯ , سورة ٢٦: الشعراء آية رقم ٨٣ 70. “O my Lord ! bestow wisdom On me, and join me With the righteous ;” (Sūrah 26: Ash Shu’arāa, or The Poets,Verses 227 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.83, Sections 11). - رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ ◯ ١١٨- فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ◯ سورة الشعراء آية١١٧-١١٨- 71. He (Noha) said: “O my Lord ! Truly my people have Rejected me. Judge thou, then, between me And them openly, and deliver Me and those of the Believers Who are with me.”(Surah No.26, Surah Ash Shuara, Ayat: 117-118). ١٦٩- رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ ◯ سورة الشعراء آية١٦٩ 72. “O my Lord ! deliver me And my family from Such things as they do ! ” (Surah No 26, Surah Ash Shuara, Ayat 169). ١٩- رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ ◯ (سورة رقم ٢٧، سورة النّمل ، آية: ١٩ 73. So he smiled, amused At her speech ; and he said : “O my Lord ! so order me That I may be grateful For Thy favours, which Thou Hast bestowed on me and On my parents, and that I may work the righteousness That will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, To the ranks of Thy Righteous Servants.” (Surah No 27, Surah Nomol, Ayat: 19). ٤٤- رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّـهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ◯ سورة النّمل ، آية: ٤٤ 74 ‡n Avgvi c«wZcvjK! Avwg ‡Zv wb‡Ri c«wZ hyjg KwiqvwQjvg, Avwg myjvqgv‡bi mwnZ RMZmg~‡ni c«wZcvjK Avjøvni wbKU AvZ¥mgc©b Kwi‡ZwQ (m~ivn bvgj, AvqvZ bs- 44) 74. “O my Lord ! I have indeed wronged My soul : I do (now) Submit (in Islām), with Solomon, To the Lord of the Worlds.” ( Sūrah 27: Naml, or the Ants, Verses 93 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.44., Sections 7). ١٦- رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَغَفَرَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ ◯ سورة ٢٨: قصص ، آية رقم ١٦- 75. He prayed : “ O my Lord ! I have indeed wronged my soul ! Do Thou then forgive me ! ” So (Allah) forgave him : for He Is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Sūrah 28: Qasas, or the Narration,Verses 88 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.16, Sections 9). ١٧- رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ ◯ سورة قصص ، آية رقم ١٧ 76. “O my Lord ! For that Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace on me, never Shall I be a help To those who sin ! ” (Surah No 28, Surah Kasas, Ayat: 17). ٢١- رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ◯ سورة قصص ، آية رقم ٢١ 77. He therefore got away therefrom, Looking about, in a state Of fear. He prayed : “ O my Lord ! save me From people given to wrong-doing.” (Surah No 28, Surah Kasas, Ayat: 21). ٢٤- رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ ◯ سورة قصص ، آية رقم ٢٤ 78. “ O my Lord ! Truly am I In (desperate) need Of any good That thou dost send me! (Surah No 28, Surah Kasas, Ayat: 24). ٣٠- رَبِّ انصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ◯ سورة ٢٩: عنكبت ، آية رقم ٣٠ 79. “ O my Lord ! Help Thou me against people Who do mischief ! ” (Sūrah 29: Ankabūt, or the Spider, Verses 69 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.30 Sections 7). ٩٩رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ ◯ سورة ٣٧: الصّافات آية٩٩ 80. He said : “ I will go To my Lord ! He Will surely guide me !” (Sūrah 37: Sāffāt, or Those Ranged in Ranks, Verses 182 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.99, Sections 5). ١٠٠- رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ ◯ سورة ٣٧: الصّافات آية١٠٠ 81. “ O my Lord ! grant me A righteous (son) !” (Sūrah 37: Sāffāt, Ayat No.100). ٣٥- رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّن بَعْدِي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ ◯ سورة ٣٨: ص آيات رقم٣٥ 82. He said, “ O my Lord ! Forgive me, and grant me A Kingdom which, (It may be), suits not Another after me : For Thou art the Grantor Of Bounties (without measure).” (Sūrah 38: Sād (being one of the Abbreviated Letters), Verses 88 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.35, Sections 5). ١٥- رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي ۖ إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ◯ (السورة ٤٦: الأحقاف - الآية ١٥ 83. “O my Lord! Grant me that I may be Grateful for Thy favour Which Thou hast bestowed Upon me, and upon both My parents, and that I May work righteousness Such as Thou mayest approve ; And be gracious to me In my issue. Truly Have I turned to Thee And truly do I bow (To Thee) in Islam. ” (Sūrah 46: Ahqāf, or Winding Sand-tracts, Verses 35 — Makki; Revealed at Makka — Ayat No.15, Sections 4). ١٠- رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ ◯ سورة ٦٣: المنافقون آيات١٠ 84. “O my Lord ! Why didst Thou not give me Respite for a little while? I should then have given (Largely) in charity, and I Should have been one Of the doers of good ”. (Sūrah 63: Munāfiqūn, or the Hypocrites, Verses 11 — Madani; Revealed at Madina — Ayat No.10, Sections 2). ١١- رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِي مِن فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَمَلِهِ وَنَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ◯ سورة ٦٦: التّحريم - آية رقم ١١ 85.“ O my Lord ! build For me, in nearness To Thee, a mansion In the Garden, And save me from Pharaoh And his doings And save me from Those that do wrong ” ; (Sūrah 66: Tahrīm, — Ayat No.11). ٢٦- رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا ◯ ٢٧- إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا ◯ (سورة ٧١: نوح - آية رقم ٢٦-٢٧ 86. And Noah said : “ O my Lord ! Leave not Of the Unbelievers, A single one on earth! For, if Thou dost leave (Any of) them, they will But mislead Thy devotees, And they will breed none But wicked ungrateful ones”. Say: I seek refuge With the Lord of the Dawn, From the mischief Of created things ; From the mischief Of Darkness as it overspreads ; From the mischief Of those who practice Secret Arts ; And from the mischief Of the envious one As he practices envy. The King (or Ruler) Of Mankind, 2. The Allah (God or Judge) Of Mankind, — 3. 4. From the mischief Of the Whisperer (Of Evil) who withdraws (After his whisper),— 5. (The same) who whispers Into the hearts of Mankind,— 4. Among Jinns 5. And among Men.
